85-carat Royal Asscher Diamond Tiara By Reena Ahluwalia
The tiara is designed by Reena Ahluwalia as a tribute to the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The Royal Tiara features Royal Asscher cut diamonds, including a 10-carat Royal Asscher cut in the center. Reena wanted to put a modern spin to tiaras, and so she designed a light and romantic piece. She used flowers and buds motifs because they represent nature's most beautiful creations and symbolize blossomed love. Reena's inspiration for this also came from Queen Mother's 1923, Strathmore Rose Tiara, particularly it's placement on forehead.
